Ben Lang has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ben is currently the Founder and CEO of Native Chats, a position they have held since November 2019. In addition to their entrepreneurial pursuits, Ben is an Adjunct Professor at Parsons School of Design - The New School, starting in May 2021.
Prior to these roles, Ben served on the Board of Directors for IA MED from October 2019 to November 2021. Ben also held multiple positions at Viceroy, including White Hat News Product Owner from June 2019 to November 2021, and Founder and CEO from August 2018 to November 2021.
Earlier in their career, Ben worked as a Principal Product Manager at Axon from April 2017 to August 2018. Ben founded and served as CEO of Guildsmith, a company specializing in production, from November 2011 to April 2017. Ben also founded and served as CEO of Panel Co. from May 2013 to December 2015.
In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Ben had various roles at Guildsmith Productions as Executive Producer from December 2011 to December 2016, and at World Dodgeball Society as a Contract CEO from July 2014 to July 2015.
Ben started their career at Palantir Technologies as a Consultant with a TS-SCI w/CI Poly clearance from July 2011 to October 2011. Overall, Ben Lang has a diverse background in leadership, entrepreneurship, teaching, and consulting.
Ben Lang attended San Clemente High School from 1998 to 2002, where they earned their High School Diploma. Prior to this, they attended Missouri Military Academy from 1996 to 1998. In 2012, Ben Lang briefly studied General Studies at both Piedmont Virginia Community College and Northern Virginia Community College.
In terms of higher education, Ben Lang obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Strategic Design & Management from Parsons School of Design - The New School. Ben attended this school from 2013 to 2016. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Design Strategy at California College of the Arts from 2019 to 2021.
Additionally, Ben Lang obtained several certifications over the years. These certifications include CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ from Infosec in 2019 and various software-related courses from Coursera in 2016 and 2018. Furthermore, they earned the Palantir Certified Analyst certification from Palantir Technologies in 2011, as well as certifications in computer forensics and hacking investigations from EC Council and the Information Assurance Certification Review Board in 2011.
