Ricardo Perez

Ricardo Perez is an experienced design and engineering professional with a strong focus on sustainability. Currently serving as a Design System Production Engineer, Special Projects Engineer, and Sustainable Production Designer & Engineer at Native Shoes since May 2019, Ricardo also contributes as a Project Developer for Sustainable Design & Engineering at Melt Collective. As the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Rift Skateboard Manufacturing Ltd., a sustainable skateboard production company, Ricardo brings significant expertise in sustainable practices. Previous roles include a Mechanical Engineer at Grey to Green Sustainable Solutions and various design positions, including Graphic Designer and Web Developer. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Dalhousie University and a degree from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, complemented by pre-college studies in Environmental Design at Parsons School of Design.
