Jo Malbert Narvaez Mpa

Jo Malbert Narvaez, MPA, currently serves as the Administrative Director at Native Movement, overseeing operations, human resources, finance, and property management since February 2022. Previously, Narvaez held multiple roles at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, including Process Manager, Adjunct Instructor of Spanish, and Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator, where responsibilities included managing diversity initiatives and supervising students. As a Resident Director, Narvaez oversaw residential areas housing over 300 residents and managed a team of paraprofessional employees. Narvaez's earlier positions also included Assistant Resident Director and various support roles. Narvaez holds a Master of Public Administration in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
