Katherine Bain

Katherine Bain is a seasoned professional in governance, political economy, and adaptive management, currently leading initiatives for energy transition in Colombia at Results for Development. Katherine has extensive experience across various organizations, including the Natural Resource Governance Institute and The Asia Foundation, focusing on strategic advice and systems change. Previous roles include Senior Governance Specialist at The World Bank, where Katherine spearheaded governance initiatives in West and East Africa, and Program Director for the LEAP program in Nigeria at the Overseas Development Institute. Katherine holds a Master of Science from The London School of Economics and a graduate diploma in Indigenous History from the University of Alberta.
