Suneeta Kaimal

Suneeta Kaimal serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Natural Resource Governance Institute, dedicated to fostering sustainable and equitable development in resource-rich countries. Prior experience includes leadership roles at HPCR International, where Suneeta founded the UN liaison office and ensured the integration of humanitarian policy research within UN operations. As a consultant, Suneeta contributed to various initiatives addressing trafficking and human rights, with notable engagements with major UN agencies. Previous positions at Human Rights Watch and as a Duke University Hart Leadership Fellow further demonstrate Suneeta's commitment to human rights advocacy. Suneeta holds a Master of International Affairs focused on Human Rights from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Women's Studies from Duke University.
