Natural Resources Specialist (term) at Natural Resources Conservation Service

Cathy Cannon is a Natural Resources Specialist with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service since November 2013, currently contributing to the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Previous roles include serving as a National American Indian Alaska Native Special Emphasis Program Manager, where national guidance was provided to state-level representatives, and as a Rangeland Management Specialist, offering operational improvement assistance to producers. Additional experience includes temporary positions in grants and agreements management and program management. Before joining USDA, Cathy worked as a Natural Resources Assistant II at Larimer County Department of Natural Resources, focusing on easement monitoring and restoration plan development. Cathy holds a Master’s degree in Rangeland Ecosystem Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology and Zoology, both from Colorado State University.
