Michael Troyer is an experienced archaeologist currently employed at the Natural Resources Conservation Service since February 2020. Prior to this role, Michael served at the Bureau of Land Management from May 2012 to February 2020, where Michael held positions including Coordinator of the Cultural Resources Data Partnership and BLM Colorado Cultural Resources Data Steward. Their duties encompassed enhancing cultural resource data management, coordinating with various stakeholders, and providing GIS support for resource management. Michael began their career at the Center for Mountain and Plains Archaeology at Colorado State University, working as both a GIS Specialist and an archaeologist. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology/Archaeology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, both from Colorado State University.
