Peter McBride is an experienced wildlife biologist with a strong background in conservation and ecological management. Currently serving as the State Wildlife Biologist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Washington State, Peter develops and enhances conservation practices in collaboration with agricultural and forestry landowners under various federal programs. Previous roles include providing expertise in wildlife biology and conservation policy at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and supporting endangered species recovery efforts at the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Peter has also contributed to academia as an instructor in wildlife ecology and has worked with tribal communities to advance treaty rights and wildlife management. With a Master of Science in Terrestrial Ecology from Huxley College and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Grinnell College, Peter brings a solid educational foundation to the field of wildlife conservation.
