Shane Jordan has over 25 years of experience in conservation, currently serving as a Resource Conservationist at the Natural Resources Conservation Service since January 1998, providing services to customers across Eastern South Dakota. Previously, Shane held the role of District Conservationist, focusing on identifying resource concerns with farmers and ranchers and implementing technical conservation practices on various land types, as well as managing USDA/NRCS conservation programs. Prior to this, Shane worked as a Range Conservationist at USDA-NRCS from August 1996 to January 1998. Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Range Science from South Dakota State University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
