Senior Climate And Health Advocate at Natural Resources Defense Council

Juanita Constible has a diverse work experience in the field of climate and environmental advocacy. Juanita most recently served as a Senior Climate and Health Advocate at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) starting in January 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Special Projects Director at NRDC from October 2015 to December 2017.

Juanita also worked at the Climate Action Campaign DC, where they held various roles. Juanita was a Senior Advisor from January 2015 to September 2015, where they coordinated the production of presentations, funding proposals, and progress reports. Juanita also created a system to track and compile metrics across multiple departments to ensure accurate and on-time reporting. Prior to their senior advisor role, Juanita was a Science and Policy Advisor from May 2013 to December 2014.

In addition, Juanita worked as a Science Communication Consultant at the Restore the Mississippi River Delta Campaign from July 2014 to January 2015. Juanita served as the Science and Solutions Director at The Climate Reality Project from June 2010 to April 2013.

Juanita started their career as a Technical Analyst at the National Wildlife Federation from November 2007 to June 2010. Juanita also gained experience as a Science Educator on an Antarctic Research Team at Miami University from December 2009 to February 2010. Prior to that, they worked as an Outreach and Laboratory Coordinator at Miami University from June 2004 to October 2007. Throughout their career, Juanita has demonstrated a strong commitment to science, policy, and advocacy in the field of climate and environmental issues.

Juanita Constible obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Victoria in 1996. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology from the same university, completing it in 1999.
