Christian Casanova

Christian Casanova is a prominent academic and research leader with extensive experience in neurobiology and neurosciences. Currently, Christian serves as the Executive Director of Research and Partnerships at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Université de Montréal, where Christian also directs the Visual Neuroscience Laboratory and has held various leadership roles, including Dean of the School of Optometry and Director of the FRQS Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Brain and Learning (CIRCA). Christian is an active member of multiple boards, including the Consortium de recherche et d'innovation en aérospatiale au Québec (CRIAQ) and Calcul Québec, and participates in editorial roles for several scientific publications. Christian's educational background includes a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Université de Montréal and post-doctoral work at both McGill University and the University of California, Berkeley.
