Joyce Pelz

Joyce Pelz is an experienced professional with a diverse background in environmentally friendly lawn care, conservation, and technology. As the Owner of NaturaLawn of America-Akron since January 2000, Joyce Pelz has focused on reducing pesticide use and providing sustainable lawn care services. Involvement with the Greater Akron Audubon Society since 1984 includes serving on the Executive Committee and as Conservation Chairperson, offering seminars on attracting birds and wildlife. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Programmer at Lockheed Martin Corp. where design and implementation of User Interface software for flight simulators were key responsibilities, and working as a Laboratory Technician at the Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center. Joyce Pelz holds a BS in Computer Science from The University of Akron and a BS in Biology from Youngstown State University.
