Thane Mitton has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Thane began their career as a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they specialized in tax returns for various entities and had expertise in charitable giving and estate planning. Thane then moved on to work as a Controller for the Trust Department at West One Bancorp, managing financial accounting and reporting until the bank was acquired by U.S. Bancorp. Thane then joined Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company as a Special Agent before transitioning to AMI Semiconductor, Inc. There, they held multiple roles, including Tax Manager, Corporate Controller, and Senior Director of Worldwide Corporate Tax, overseeing financial reporting, IPO, SAP implementation, and acquisition and integration of a European business. Following their tenure at AMI Semiconductor, they worked at Idahoan Foods as a Corporate Controller, responsible for monthly close and financial reporting, and facilitating the integration of processing plants after a merger. Thane's most recent role is serving as the Executive Director of Corporate Tax at NSP.
Thane Mitton obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Idaho State University from 1984 to 1987. Thane then pursued a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree at Utah State University from 1987 to 1988.
