Efthalia Tzitzili

Efthalia Tzitzili, Ph.D., is a Data Science & Engineering Team Lead at NatWest Group since April 2020, managing a team focused on enhancing financial profitability models through machine learning and establishing data pipeline infrastructure. Previously, Efthalia held positions at Royal Bank of Scotland as a Stress Testing Modelling Manager and a Senior Analyst, with a role in developing Credit Stress Testing methodologies for Climate Change Risk. Efthalia’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University, where research involved stochastic partial differential equations, complemented by an MSc in Applied Mathematics from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Crete. Additionally, Efthalia contributed as an Assistant Examiner at the Faculty and Institute of Actuaries and served as a teaching assistant at Heriot-Watt University.
