Tom Wright

Tom Wright is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in API engineering and platform development. Currently serving as Head of API Engineering and Open Banking Platform Lead at NatWest Group since June 2018, Tom leads cross-functional teams to deliver and enhance APIs, focusing on regulatory compliance and consumer needs. Previously, Tom held roles as Engineering Manager and Senior Platform Engineer at Callsign, managing the development of a cloud-based authentication platform. Tom also served as Vice President in Equity Risk Reporting at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where significant enhancements were made to a real-time risk reporting platform. Tom’s early experience includes an internship at Cerner Corporation, and education was completed with a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton.
