William Oldham

William Oldham has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, with a career that spans several high-profile companies. William most recently held the position of Senior Director of Reagent Operations at Nautilus Biotechnology starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Cellanome Inc as the Senior Director of Consumables Development from October 2022 to October 2023.

Before that, William served in various roles at Mission Bio from 2017 to 2022, including Senior Director of Operations, Director of Operations, Director of Manufacturing, Associate Director of Manufacturing, and Associate Director of Reagent Manufacturing. William played key roles in driving the company's operations, overseeing scalability, quality control, process development, and supply chain management.

Earlier in their career, William worked as a Staff Production Line Specialist and Production Specialist at Twist Bioscience from 2015 to 2017, where they contributed to the development of synthetic biology techniques and managed manufacturing and operations for oligo pool programs.

Prior to that, they were a Scientist at Ion Torrent by Life Technologies from 2011 to 2015, where they led several programs in process development and manufacturing, focusing on the ION PGM platform. William also played a pivotal role in integrating manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Additionally, William has experience at SuperGen as a Senior Research Associate in Process Development & CMC, overseeing synthesis and contract manufacturing for multiple programs. William has also worked at Exelixis as an Associate Scientist in CMC, managing process development and scaling up production.

William started their career as a Research Associate at Discovery Partners International, specializing in combinatorial chemistry and device research. William managed lab operations and compound libraries and was involved in hiring and mentoring lab technicians. Throughout their career, William has demonstrated strong leadership, expertise in process development, and a commitment to driving operational excellence.

William Oldham received a BS and MS degree in Bio-Chemistry/Organic Chemistry from the University of Oregon, from 1996 to 2001.
