Doug Schrashun

Doug Schrashun is a software engineer who currently works at Nava. Doug has previously worked at both Condé Nast and Rowan Technology. At Condé Nast, they were a technical lead. Some of their responsibilities included building and maintaining the Rowan Digital Reader, an interactive e-book platform, developing and refining an e-book authoring app, overseeing a large codebase, and creating iOS and Windows native versions of the Reader using Cordova. Doug also managed a wide portfolio of interdependent sites and services running on AWS. At Rowan Technology, they held the position of lead developer and had many of the same responsibilities as at their previous job. Doug also led planning for future development, prioritized feature requests and bug fixes.

Doug Schrashun has a BA in Asian Languages and Civilizations from Amherst College. Doug is currently a JavaScript Development student at Fullstack Academy.
