Patty Fischer

Patty Fischer has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Patty is currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Navacord since January 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers Ltd., including Construction Risk Services, Learning and Development Lead, and Learning & Development Specialist. In their previous positions, Patty focused on creating training materials, delivering seminars, and process mapping to support employee development.

Patty Fischer holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, completed from 1992 to 1996. Patty also has various certifications in insurance and risk management, including a Chartered Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada, completed in 2004. Additionally, they hold Canadian Risk Management and Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist Designations from the University of Alberta and IRMI, completed in 2005 and 2010, respectively. Finally, they completed a program in Workforce Development and Training from Business Enterprise Mapping and the University of Alberta in 2012.
