Edwin Hastings

Edwin Hastings is an experienced O&M Electrician and Mechanic currently employed at Navajo Agricultural Products Industry since March 2018, where responsibilities include operating and maintaining irrigation water pumping stations. Prior to this role, Edwin worked as a Longwall Mechanic at Westmoreland Coal Company from February 2016 to December 2017. Edwin's extensive background in coal mining production and development spans from May 2001 to February 2016 at BHP, with previous experience as a Water/Wastewater Systems Operator at Navajo Tribal Utility Authority from March 1994 to May 2001. Edwin holds two Associate of Science degrees from San Juan College in Diesel Mechanics Technology and Welding Technology, along with Apprenticeship Certifications in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance and Water and Wastewater System Operation and Maintenance.
