Mathieu Deroo

Mathieu Deroo began their work experience as a UX designer at Benchmark Group in 2008. In 2009, they became a PhD student at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique and completed their role in 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Human Factors specialist at Bertin Technologies with a focus on Airbus projects. Since 2016, Mathieu has been employed at NAVAL GROUP, starting as a Human Factors specialist and later becoming the Head of the Human Factors & UX Design Team in January 2021.

Mathieu Deroo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cognitive Ergonomics, which they completed from Université Rennes 2 between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they attained a Master's degree in Ingénierie biomédicale (ergonomie cognitive) from Université Paris Cité, where they studied from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, in the years 2013 to 2016, Mathieu acquired a Private Pilot License from Aeroclub Clément Ader (Muret).
