Nelson Muniz

Nelson Muniz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Nelson began their career in 1982 as a Sr. Electronic Technician at SAIC, where they worked until 1994. From 1994 to 2001, they held the position of Sr. Computer Technician at SAIC. In 2001, they joined Bechtel SAIC as a member of their Information Technology team, where they stayed until 2009. During this time, they gained expertise in desktop cybersecurity support. In 2009, they joined USA Repository Services as a Desktop Cyber Security Support Specialist and worked there until 2010. Nelson then became a contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management for the Yucca Mountain Transition Office at S. M. Stoller Corp., Legacy Management from 2010 to 2014, serving in the role of Server Operations. Most recently, they are working as a Backup Administrator at Navarro Research and Engineering, a position they have been employed in since 2014.

Nelson Muniz began their education journey in 1980 at Los Angeles Trade-Tech, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Electronic Engineering and successfully completed it in 1982. After that, they decided to further their education and enrolled at the University of Phoenix in 2003 to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Nelson completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Phoenix in 2005.
