Sean Maguire

Sean Maguire has over 10 years of experience in research and development engineering. Sean began their career in 2009 as an intern at AlertMe.com, where they were responsible for the integration of the AlertMe system with Google PowerMeter. In 2010, they worked as an intern at Ubisense, where they undertook hardware and PCB design, firmware/embedded software development and testing for a GPS-based location device. In 2011, they began their PhD studies at the University of Cambridge, where they carried out research into novel attitude (orientation) estimation systems for high-acceleration, low-cost applications. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Senior Researcher at Sharp Laboratories of Europe. In 2017, they began working as a Principal R&D Engineer at Navenio Ltd.

Sean Maguire completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2015. Sean also obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge from 2007 to 2011.
