Ian Pierce

Ian Pierce has diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and programming. Ian recently worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Navitaire, an Amadeus company, starting in February 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Software Developer at Berkadia from December 2017 to January 2020. In 2016, they interned as a software engineer at Zappos Family of Companies for two months. Before that, they were a Programmer at TouchMD from August 2015 to April 2016. As a Programming Intern at Leavitt Group from February 2015 to August 2015, they gained valuable experience. Additionally, Ian worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Southern Utah University from August 2014 to February 2015, where they assisted students in computer concepts and programming classes. Before entering the software industry, they worked as an Engineering Technician at Western Technologies from May 2013 to August 2014, primarily focusing on quality assurance for soil, concrete, and asphalt materials. Furthermore, they served as a Student Mentor at Southern Utah University from August 2013 to May 2014, where they offered academic assistance and math tutoring to struggling students.

Ian Pierce attended Southern Utah University from 2010 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also received a certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2022.
