Gong Du currently serves as the DTC Content Operation Lead for the National Basketball Association (NBA) since July 2022. Prior to this role, Gong held positions at Tencent from August 2015 to July 2022, including Senior Basketball Editor/Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing the editorial aspects of the Tencent-NBA partnership and overseeing content planning and social media engagement. Additionally, as a Basketball Editor/Reporter, Gong provided coverage of major NBA and FIBA events and conducted interviews with prominent figures such as NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and basketball legends like Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant. Earlier experience includes working as a Translator & Interpreter for China Central Television, focusing on NBA content and facilitating communication during player visits. Gong holds a Master of Arts in English Translation & Interpretation from China Foreign Affairs University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from Dalian University of Foreign Languages.
