Kate Payne

Kate Payne is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and marketing. Since February 2012, Kate has served as the Vice President of Communications at the North Carolina Chamber, overseeing communication strategies and promotional campaigns while advising executives on effective communication practices. Previously, Kate held roles including Associate Vice President of Communications and Director of Marketing and Member Engagement at the same organization, where responsibilities included planning and executing marketing initiatives. Prior to this, Kate worked at BÆRING as Director of Account Management and Senior Account Executive, managing client accounts and leading PR campaigns. Kate began their career as an account executive at MMI Public Relations and completed an internship at Destination PR in London. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications from Elon University.
