Isabel Onofre

Isabel Onofre is a Senior Scientist specializing in Neuroscience at Ncardia since September 2019, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Associate at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute and as a Research Scientist at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology. Isabel has expertise in developing and validating in vitro models of neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation, as well as methodologies for neuron differentiation from patient-derived iPSCs. Additionally, Isabel holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and an Integrated Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade de Coimbra, with early career experience as a pharmacist and trainee.
