Angus Young

Angus Young has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Angus is currently the Chief Executive Officer at NCB Capital Markets since 2022. Prior to this, they held positions such as Executive Vice President - Regional Investment Banking and New Markets and Head - Regional Investment Banking & New Markets at the same company. Before joining NCB Capital Markets, Angus served as the Chief Executive Officer of NCB Merchant Bank (Trinidad and Tobago) Ltd. & NCB Capital Markets Ltd. from 2014 to 2022. Angus also briefly acted as the Chief Executive Officer at NCB Capital Markets (Barbados) Ltd. in 2017-2018. Angus has previous experience as the Managing Director at BDO Financial Advisory Services Limited (formerly Young & Associates Limited) and Young & Associates Limited. Angus started their career at RBTT Merchant Bank Limited, where they held multiple roles including Assistant Vice President - Capital Market Origination, Regional Manager - Capital Market Origination, and Account Executive - Risk Management. Angus also worked at First Global (Trinidad & Tobago) Ltd. as a VP - Business Development and at ONE1 Financial Limited as a Director.

Angus Young attended St. Mary's College from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a CXC degree in Business/Commerce, General. Following that, from 1996 to 1999, they attended Western University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative & Commercial Studies, specializing in Finance & Economics. Finally, in 1999 to 2000, Angus pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting at Wilfrid Laurier University.
