Deron Austin

Deron Austin, P.E. has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple companies and industries. Deron is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Cornerstone Building Brands, where they lead and manages the Metallic Building Systems and MBCI/Components within the Engineering Design Center of Excellence. Deron is accountable for delivering technical solutions, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the overall business strategy.

Prior to their current role, Deron worked at Mueller Water Products in various leadership positions. Deron served as the Director of Customer Experience, overseeing customer service, project management, and field services for all enterprise brands in North America. Deron also directed the North American sales and business development team as the Director of Water Management Solutions, where they implemented channel partner sales strategies and drove process improvements.

Before joining Mueller Water Products, Deron held marketing leadership roles at Lectrus and Propex Operating Company, LLC. Deron successfully implemented strategic marketing plans and grew businesses through new products, customers, and markets.

Deron Austin, P.E. graduated from Bucknell University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Deron obtained their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Tennessee in February 1995. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Lean Supply Chain Professional from Georgia Institute of Technology and CX-PRO from HorizonCX, LLC.
