Doug Thomas

Doug Thomas serves as the Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS) Integration and Policy Manager at the Oregon Youth Authority since January 2017, overseeing the JJIS Business Integration Unit to enhance the effective use of JJIS in county juvenile departments and the agency. Concurrently, Doug has been a Senior Research Associate at the National Center for Juvenile Justice since April 1990, contributing to national studies on crime and delinquency. Doug's prior experience includes a role as a Research Program Specialist at the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention from April 1987 to March 1990, focusing on program development and grant management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Policy Analysis from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice from American University.
