Johan Tomacruz

Johan Tomacruz has over 15 years of work experience in software quality assurance. Johan most recently worked as a Senior Software QA Analyst at NCM Associates starting in 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Navitaire, an Amadeus company, for nearly 10 years in various roles including Senior Test Specialist and Senior Test Analyst. During their time at Navitaire, Johan was responsible for creating and implementing team processes, designing test strategies and plans, reducing regression testing hours through automation, and eliminating potential defects through product design and requirements reviews. Johan also served as a QA consultant to client sites, improved testing processes during user acceptance testing, and acted as a liaison between the QA and performance testing teams. Before joining Navitaire, Johan worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Canon Information Technologies, Philippines Inc., where they focused on testing large-scale, multi-function printers and device drivers. Overall, Johan has demonstrated expertise in QA methodologies, test planning, automation, and defect prevention.

Johan Tomacruz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Asia and the Pacific. Johan attended the university from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degree, Johan holds a certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, which they obtained from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in June 2018.
