Emil Bergwik has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Emil started their career at Spring Mobil, where they initially worked as a consultant for customer support and later transitioned to a permanent role in key account support. At Spring Mobil, their responsibilities included providing telecommunications solutions for larger companies and maintaining customer relationships.
Emil then worked as a software developer at Ericsson during a holiday internship, where they streamlined a configuration code generator and implemented webpages for visualizing MySQL databases.
After that, Emil joined ACTIA as an intern and later became a software developer. Their work focused on creating an automated build environment for C/C++-projects using tools such as Jenkins CI, Python programming, XML, and Shell scripting.
Emil also worked at Accedo.tv, starting as a software developer and trainee and eventually becoming a product specialist and then a product manager. Their roles at Accedo.tv involved developing and managing software products including mobile applications, cloud services, APIs, and back-office systems.
Emil also gained experience as a substitute member of the Board at UB Entreprenad och IT Konsult AB, where they were responsible for developing and administering the company's information webpage.
Additionally, Emil has a strong academic background, having pursued a Masters Program in Information Technology at Linköping University. During their time at the university, they also worked as a PBL supervisor, guiding students in the Problem-Based Learning methodology.
Currently, Emil is working as a product manager at NCS Colour. In this role, they oversee all software development activities and manages the software engineering team. Emil Bergwik started their education in 2004 at Rudbecks Gymnasium, where they attended until 2007. Emil then went on to Linköping University from 2009 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science. During this time, they also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Informationsteknologi, which they completed in 2014. Additionally, Emil attended Harbin Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014, where they earned another Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Software Engineering.
