Angela Wishon

Angela Wishon currently serves as the Vice President of Research Compliance and Administration at Prisma Health, a position held since December 2018. In addition to this role, Angela is the Senior Editor for NCURA Magazine with the National Council of University Research Administrators, starting in January 2022, and operates as Principal at Wishon Consulting, LLC since January 2018. Prior professional experiences include Vice President of Research Administration at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from May 2011 to March 2018, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Regulatory Compliance at the University of Colorado Denver from January 2006 to April 2011. Angela's career began at UTMB as a Research Compliance Officer from March 1999 to January 2006. Angela holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Intellectual Property Law and Health Law from St. Louis University School of Law, and completed an Intellectual Property Program at the University of Houston School of Law. Angela earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
