Christopher Field

Christopher Field is a Senior Fire Engineer at Norman Disney & Young since November 2021, with a strong background in fire engineering gained from previous experience at Fire Check Consultants from July 2013 to November 2021. Responsibilities included developing NCC performance solutions and producing fire engineering reports for various building types. Prior to that, Christopher worked as a Graduate Structural Engineer at Calibre Global, focusing on structural load estimations, design, construction drawing reviews, and project management. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with a major in Structural Engineering from Queensland University of Technology and is currently pursuing a Masters of Engineering Studies in Fire Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Proficient in software such as Strand7, SpaceGass, and AutoCAD, Christopher combines technical expertise with advanced education in the field.
