Jill Berkeley

Jill Berkeley serves as Of Counsel and Senior Counsel at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP since March 2011, where Jill also chairs the Insurance Policyholder Practice Group. Berkeley has been a member of the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Panel of Arbitrators since October 2008, acting as a Neutral Umpire and Party-Appointed Arbitrator in matters involving commercial disputes and insurance coverage. Additionally, Berkeley chaired the TIPS Fellows for the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section from May 2011 to May 2013. Prior experience includes co-chairing the Insurance Recovery Group at Howrey LLP from 2006 to 2011 and leading the Insurance Practice Group at Schiff Hardin LLP from 1993 to 2006. Berkeley began a legal career as an associate at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP from 1975 to 1982. Educational background includes a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
