Phani Karnati

Phani Karnati has a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Phani is currently the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at ViHaVe.ai, a role they have held since August 2020. Phani also serves as the Chief Consultant in AI/Datascience at NearBuzz, starting in August 2020. In addition, Phani has experience as a Guest Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence at Purdue University, starting in June 2021. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Lead Data Scientist at Travelers, starting in August 2019. Phani also served as a Tech Lead at Humana from May 2014 to March 2019. Earlier in their career, Phani worked as a Sr. Analyst Consultant at XPO Logistics, Inc., an Analytics Lead at Syntel, and an Engagement Lead at GE. Phani started their career as a Lead Programmer at Tech Mahindra in May 2005.

Phani Karnati earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2000 to 2004. In 2018, Phani completed a Master's degree with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Business Analytics at the University of Louisville. In 2020, Phani pursued an Executive Post Graduate program in Data Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore. In addition to their formal education, Phani obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2018 and the SAS Certified Predictive Modeler Using SAS Enterprise Miner 14 certification from SAS (obtained month and year unknown).
