Colm Harte

Colm Harte has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Colm is currently working at NearForm as the Head of Delivery, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, Colm worked as a Technical Director at NearForm from February 2016 to October 2021, where they were responsible for successful solution delivery, technical pre-sales, project management, and team planning.

Before their time at NearForm, Colm held various roles at MUZU, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in September 2006 and eventually becoming the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) from September 2011 to May 2015. As CTO, they were accountable for the architecture and development of the MUZU platform, which supported over 5 billion video streams per month. Additionally, Colm served as the Head of Engineering at MUZU from July 2007 to August 2011, where they managed the R&D team and collaborated with product and business teams to create innovative syndication solutions.

Colm's career also includes roles at TSSG as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led a project for MUZU and eventually joined the company as Head of Engineering. Colm worked at Omnivend Systems Ltd as a Software Architect, designing and implementing a multi-product vending kiosk solution. Earlier in their career, Colm worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Waterford Technologies, developing the MailMeter product and providing solutions for utility distribution companies. Colm started their career as a Software Engineer at Dataworks, Aritech Security Systems, and Ericsson.
