Brian Mikkelsen

Brian Mikkelsen has extensive experience in political action and advocacy, currently serving as the NSEA Director of Political Action and Organizational Specialist for Political Action at the Nebraska State Education Association since July 1997. In this role, Brian is responsible for the development and implementation of grassroots initiatives to mobilize members on legislative matters. Prior to this, Brian served as the Executive Director and Lobbyist for the Nebraska Enterprise Opportunity Network from 1995 to 1997, where efforts focused on supporting legislation for a loan program aimed at micro businesses. Additionally, Brian worked as a Legislative Aide for State Senator Chris Beutler from January 1995 to June 1996. Brian holds a degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, completed between 1988 and 2003.
