Chris D. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Chris started their career as a Machinist at Piatek Machine Company Inc, where they performed custom machine work and gained skills in CAD, CNC machines, and welding. Chris then transitioned to the maritime industry, working at Maersk Line, Limited as a First Assistant Engineer and later as a 2nd Assistant Engineer/3rd Assistant Engineer. In these roles, they managed maintenance projects, supervised daily plant operations, and led a team of engineers. Chris also served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Reserve from 2010 to 2019. Chris went on to work as a Utility Operating Engineer at Brookfield Renewable, where they operated hydro-electric dams and ensured compliance with safety policies. Before their current role, Chris worked as an Assistant Project Manager at The Ryan Company, Inc., administering multiple projects and assisting in establishing safety and environment programs. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager at NECI, where they manage a variety of projects, handles sales support and customer communication, and oversees project delivery.

Chris D. has a diverse education history. In 2002, they graduated from Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School with a High School Diploma, specializing in Precision Metal Working. Chris then pursued further education and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy between 2006 and 2010. Following this, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, attending from 2019 to 2022.

In addition to their degrees, Chris has also obtained several certifications. Chris completed the OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Health Electrical Transmission and Distribution course from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in August 2019, as well as the OSHA 30 Construction course from ClickSafety in February 2019. In April 2018, they participated in the Lead Hazard Awareness Seminar offered by the Childhood Lead Action Project. Furthermore, they obtained the Hazardous Materials Safe Handling certification from the Department of Transport in April 2014.

Prior to pursuing higher education, Chris obtained various other certifications. Chris received the First Assistant Engineer Motor Unlimited Horsepower certification from the United States Coast Guard in April 2012. In June 2010, they obtained the Fundamentals of Engineering Certification (FE) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, along with the Medical Care Provider certification from the United States Coast Guard and the Third Assistant Engineer Steam and Gas Turbine Unlimited Horsepower certification. Additionally, they received the Universal CFC Refrigerant Transportation and Recovery Certification from the Environmental Protection Agency in December 2009. Chris also holds the TWIC certification from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) since February 2018 and CPR/AED Training from Code One Training Solutions, LLC, acquired in October 2018.

It is worth mentioning that Chris holds a Fireman Second Class License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a Secret Security Clearance from the Navy Department of Defense, although it is not specified when these were obtained.
