Christina Brown (Tina)

Tina Brown is an experienced professional with a diverse background in process automation engineering, project management, and research support. Christina (Tina) is currently working at NECI as a Sr. Process Automation Engineer, responsible for executing customer DeltaV projects in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry. Prior to NECI, Tina worked at Evonik for several years, where they held various roles including Project Engineer and Process Engineer. In these roles, they managed capital projects, led teams, and provided engineering solutions to improve plant safety, efficiency, and reliability. Tina also participated in the International Professional Rotational Enrichment Program (IPREP), gaining valuable experience in cross-cultural and cross-departmental project and process engineering roles. Before joining Evonik, Tina worked as a Lab Technician at Dioxide Materials, conducting experiments and supporting post-doc research on CO2 conversion. Christina (Tina) also interned at Evonik, where they performed market research and developed marketing materials for the upstream oil & gas sector. Tina holds an MBA degree and has a strong background in code design, configuration, testing, documentation, and commissioning.

Christina (Tina) Brown completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, attending from 2010 to 2014. In 2018, they obtained their Engineer In Training (EIT) certification from the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Tina then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2021.
