Gerrit van Zyl

Gerrit van Zyl has worked for Nedbank since 1999 in various roles. Gerrit started as a Divisional Head of Credit and later became the Head of Credit for Retail and Business Banking. Prior to their time at Nedbank, they worked as an Audit Manager for Baker Tilly Greenwoods Chartered Accountants from 1995 to 1999.

Gerrit van Zyl completed their B Com Honours in Management Accounting at the University of Stellenbosch from 1988 to 1994. Gerrit then pursued a B Compt Honours in Accounting and Business/Management at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 1995 to 1996. In 1997, they obtained a CA(GR) SA qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, they completed a Chartered Management Accounting (CIMA) qualification at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1994.
