Jason Hamilton

Jason Hamilton has a diverse work experience, including roles such as a member of the Thought Leadership and Business Ethics Committee at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, a Principal in Leveraged Finance at Nedbank, and a Subject Matter Expert and Head Tutor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Jason has also served as a Mentor at Santander X, an Instructor and Course Author at Business Learning Institute, and as Adjunct Faculty at Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development. Additionally, they have held positions such as Advisory Board Member at Tshwane University of Technology, Independent Trustee at Khobab Renewable Energy Trust, and Non-Executive Director at The Loeriesfontein 2 Wind Renewable Energy Company. Jason was also an Official Member of the Forbes Finance Council.

Jason Hamilton has a diverse education history. Jason completed the Private Equity Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2019. In the same year, they also completed the Advanced Valuation Programme at NYU Stern School of Business. Jason holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Accounting from Stellenbosch University, which they completed in 2002. Jason has a Certificate in Legal aspects of Corporate Finance from the University of Cape Town (2018) and a Certificate in Trusts: Legal, Technical, Tax and Financial Planning Implications from the same university (2018). Jason has pursued further education at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, completing the Oxford Private Markets Investments Programme in 2021 and the Oxford Entrepreneurship: Venture Finance Programme in 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Full Member of the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2018), Member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (2018), Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) from CIMA (2006), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
