Thabo Monkhe

Thabo Monkhe, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thabo started their career as a Junior Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1991 and held this role until 1996. In 1997, they joined Sasol as a Senior Scientist, where they worked until 1999. Thabo then joined Nedbank in 2008 as a Senior Manager, and gradually progressed within the company. Thabo served as the Head of Credit and Charge Cards from November 2019 to March 2021, after which they took on the role of Head of Retail Trading VP-Solution Innovation at Nedbank Ltd. Currently, Thabo's tenure with Nedbank is ongoing, and their contributions to the company have been significant.

Thabo Monkhe, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In 2015, they also completed the Global Leadership Development Programme at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). Additionally, in 2018, Dr. Monkhe obtained a certification titled "Bill George on Self Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership" from LinkedIn.
