Joost van Hilten

Joost van Hilten has extensive experience in production and technical planning within the performing arts sector. Since January 2015, Joost has served as the Director of Production and Technical Planning at Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT), previously holding the title of Coördinator Productie. Prior to this role, Joost was a Stage Manager at Toneelgroep Amsterdam from August 2010 to January 2015. Joost’s career began in May 1995 with Joost van Hilten Decorbouw/Theatertechniek, where Joost worked as a Decorbouwer/Theatertechnicus until December 2014, serving as a Technical Producer for a range of projects. Additional roles include working as a Technicus/Decorbouwer for Stichting Orkater, Projectleider at Fiction Factory, and Technisch coördinator at 'D Electrique', among other technical positions in various theatrical organizations since 1996.
