Petra Jansen

Petra Jansen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analysis and policy development within the healthcare sector. Since July 2017, Petra has served as a Dataspecialist, toezichthouder, and beleidsmedewerker at the Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa). Prior to this, Petra held the position of Senior financieel adviseur at the Ministerie van VWS for nearly 18 years, focusing on financial forecasting and data coordination. Petra also contributed as a beleidsmedewerker, preparing legislative changes and managing projects related to pharmaceuticals and medical technology. Earlier career experiences include a project trainee role at the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek and serving as a Subject Matter Expert in a European Commission project on elderly care. Petra holds a Master of Science in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
