Hector Prieto

Hector Prieto is an experienced civil engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently serving as Engineer Intern III at Neel-Schaffer, Inc. since February 2022, Hector has contributed to significant projects such as the Canal No. 19 - SR 159 Bridge Replacement and Safe Routes to Schools improvements in Texas. Previously, as a Graduate Engineer at IEA Inc., key projects included SL 88 Outer Loop in Lubbock and International Parkway Right Turns at DFW Airport. Hector also held positions as Transportation Engineer 1 at Pond & Company, where projects included Howell Mill Road Complete Streets in Atlanta, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Georgia Tech, focusing on sidewalk safety assessments. Early experience includes a Manufacturing Technology Summer Internship at J+J Flooring Group.
