Jamal J. Lewis is an accomplished professional in the field of energy policy and public health, currently serving as the Board Chair of the DC Sustainable Energy Utility and holding multiple roles at Rewiring America, including Director of Implementation Learning and Integration and Director of State and Local Policy for the Mid-Atlantic and South Regions. With a substantial background in climate change initiatives, Jamal is a member of the Maryland Commission on Climate Change Mitigation Working Group and a board member of Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships. Previous positions include Director of Energy, Health, & Climate at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative and various roles at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Jamal holds a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
