Clint Merithew

Clint Merithew is a seasoned fire investigator with extensive experience in fire safety and investigation. Currently serving as a Fire Investigator at NEFCO Fire Investigations since July 2020, Clint previously held the position of Fire Chief at South Sioux City Fire Department from October 2016 to July 2020. Prior to that, Clint worked as a Fire Investigator at G4S Compliance & Investigations from October 2010 to 2016. With a grounding in practical fire safety, Clint co-owned Friendly Fire Chimney Service from 1983 to 2009, where as a Certified Chimney Sweep, responsibilities included cleaning and inspecting fireboxes and flues. Clint's earlier career included roles as Firefighter, Engineer, Captain, and Deputy Fire Marshal at Coalinga Fire Department from September 1980 to August 2009. Educational achievements include studies at the University of Maryland and West Hills College Coalinga.
