Iaai-Cfi Rick Peterson Nafi-Cfei, Iami-Cmi

Rick Peterson, IAAI-CFI, NAFI-CFEI, IAMI-CMI, is an experienced fire analyst currently employed at NEFCO Fire Investigations since November 2021. Previously, Rick served as Team Lead and Senior Fire Investigator at Unified Investigations & Sciences from November 2015 to November 2021. Additional experience includes Branch Manager of the Marine Division at EFI Global from January 2019 to September 2021, and Senior Fire Investigator at SEA from August 2000 to September 2015. Rick began a career in the insurance industry as a Claims Adjuster at Allstate from 1997 to 2000. Rick holds a B.S. in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology with a focus on Fire Investigation and a Minor in Law Enforcement from Eastern Kentucky University, completed in 1997.
