Ginger Geoffery, APR has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Ginger started as an Editor at KUSA-TV in 1995 before moving on to roles as a Reporter/Editor at Southwest Sports Group and a Sports Anchor at CNN Headline News in the late 1990s. In 2000, they became a Reporter at Empire Sports Network before transitioning to a role as an Anchor/Reporter at WKBW-TV in 2004. Ginger gained leadership experience during their time at WKBW-TV, anchoring and producing news programs and managing personnel.
Ginger then joined The Mac Groups, Inc. in 2013, starting as a Director of Social Marketing and later becoming the Vice President of Client Relations. In these roles, they worked with clients to define goals and develop strategies, managed social media accounts, and wrote press releases. Ginger also collaborated with the creative teams of Wahlburgers to develop online branding.
In 2015, Ginger became the Director of Communications at Canisius High School, where they provided public relations counsel to the leadership team and developed marketing and communication plans. Ginger oversaw brand management, handled issues management and crisis communications, and used storytelling strategies to enhance admissions and advancement.
Currently, Ginger is the Director of Communications at Neighborhood Health Center of WNY, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic communications plan aligned with the organization's goals. Ginger collaborates with strategic leaders, leads rebranding efforts, and oversees the communications team. Ginger has also successfully launched a staff newsletter and proactively managed potential public relations problems.
Throughout their career, Ginger has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, making their a valuable asset in the field of communications and public relations.
Ginger Geoffery, APR holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication with a specialization in broadcast journalism and a minor in history from the University of Florida. Ginger has obtained the Accreditation in Public Relations (PR) certification from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2020.
