Edward Curis

Edward Curis has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Edward currently serves as the Product Director - Medicaid and Commercial Products at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Product Manager - Medicaid and a Senior Policy Analyst at the same company, starting in March 2022 and May 2018, respectively. Additionally, Edward worked as a Policy Analyst at the company since February 2016.

Before joining Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Edward worked as a Senior Business Planning Analyst at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island from November 2013 to February 2016. Before starting their career in the healthcare industry, Edward gained experience in retail as a Product Service Department Manager at Lowe's from June 2009 to 2011. Edward also worked as an Intern at the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office in 2009, assisting with case tracking and document management. Additionally, Edward worked as a Tutor at Suffolk University's Balotti Learning Center, providing academic assistance to students from 2007 to 2009.

Edward Curis completed their education in a chronological manner. Edward first attended Dean College from 2006 to 2008 and obtained an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Following this, they enrolled at Suffolk University from 2007 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. Finally, they attended The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master's of Public Policy (MPP) degree with a focus on Health Policy and General Social Policy.
